I worked in Dunmore and surrounding areas,in the late seventies lovely place and people. We stayed with the Reilly family, lovely and kind homely people. Almost every house had a photo of the Great Galway 3 in a row team, I think there was 5 or 6 players from Dunmore on that Galway panel. Pity football isn't played like that today. Fond memories, Larry kildare.
My Great Grandparents Michael Lyons and Bridget Flynn were married here in Feb 1896....will be visiting Ireland in June and am trying to locate relatives and their burial ground.....any help out there???
